How do commuters go to the bathroom when they are stuck in traffic? Is there some contraption, or do Angelenos have extra-large bladders?

Chris:  Didn’t your mother make you go before long car trips? I’ve done an informal survey of drivers with long commutes. The results: Some were dis-gusted by your question, and one joked about using Depends. However, there is an in-car solution, and no, it’s not an empty water bottle. Bright red and shaped like a gourd, it’s called the Little John and is available at marine shops, pilot supply stores, and truck stops for about $15.
